Analysts from JPMorgan claim that in 2024, the growth of Ethereum will surpass not only that of Bitcoin but also other cryptocurrencies, and Ethereum’s share in the crypto ecosystem will increase. This information comes from The Block.

Nevertheless, the bank’s experts maintain a generally cautious outlook on cryptocurrency markets in the coming year.

“We anticipate that next year Ethereum will once again make its mark and increase its market share in the crypto ecosystem. The primary driver will be the EIP-4844 or Protodanksharding upgrade, expected to take place in the first half of 2024. We believe this upgrade is likely to be a significant step toward improving Ethereum network activity,” noted the bank’s analysts.
